The COOL Story...

In 2022, founders Ryan & Jenn, decided to find a way to share Chicago’s iconic Zarlengo’s treats with Texans. They began bringing this high quality line of products straight from the Zarlengo’s ice cream shop that has been a hit there for over 40 years.

Jenn is a born and raised Texan, a graduate of Texas Tech and long time resident of the city of New Braunfels. She considers herself a RiverRat, having grown up and later raising her family on the rivers of south Texas. She has been serving the citizens of San Antonio since 2016 as a Pediatric Registered Nurse.

Ryan is originally from Chicago. He has lived and worked in several different places, but his favorite place by far has been wonderful south Texas. He has been in New Braunfels since 2019, enjoying the abundance of sunshine and the mild winters! He has been serving his communities as a Firefighter since 2008.

Ryan and Jenn are proud to be serving and sharing the Zarlengo’s high quality products. They have expanded their inventory and now carry over 7 different Italian Ice, 20 flavors of Gelato, 5 different ice cream novelties and even some diabetic friendly options.

Both have spent many years enjoying Texas culture and all that this beautiful area has to offer. Fire & Ice wants to provide a delicious way for fellow Texans to cool off with their sweet treats.
